A/C Compressor Signal (ECU Pin C10: input and output)

ECU input/output
Signal Usage

The signal at pin C10 of the ECU is bi-directional. It can be used as both an input and an output signal.

Input Signal

The A/C compressor clutch relay (J153) supplies voltage to pin C10 via terminal 87A 140 milliseconds before the A/C clutch is engaged. The ECU increases the idle stabilizer valve opening to prevent an RPM drop when the compressor clutch engages.

Output Signal

During acceleration in 1st gear, the ECU sends a signal via pin C10 to the A/C compressor clutch relay to disengage the A/C compressor clutch.

Substitute Function

There is no substitute function.
